Rogue FPS is a gaming content creator and social media influencer. In migrating his live stream to Facebook Gaming, the brief called for a visual identity with which to establish presence and grow an audience. My role here included Creative Direction, Graphic Design and Motion Design.
Known for high-energy competitive gameplay with high production value, a logo, palette and accompanying brand assets were developed to reflect those qualities and serve as the anchors around which to develop the new look.
Animating some brand assets involved traditional hand-drawn animation for later combining with 3D motion graphics in an effort to add some fun, playful cues to an otherwise hard-edged and aggressive look.
A package of animated elements were designed to align the live stream and social platforms under a consistent design language that would develop brand recognition for loyalists and newcomers alike.
Promotional materials were developed using the new visual identity to attract sponsorships and industry organizations that value professional presentation in their affiliates.
Rogue FPS successfully relaunched his stream with its new look to great reception, increased viewership and renewed engagement across the board, solidifying him as a top name on Facebook Gaming.
